Republicans Seek Rule At The End of a Rifle Barrel

By Rev. J. J. Purcell

Traitors are good for nothing. Specifically, I am addressing the realities of the Republican Party, and their bastard off-shoot, the Tea Party. They threaten to steal our freedoms from us at the end of a rifle barrel and to violently usurp the Government of the United States, and nothing is being done about it.

God forbid they ever dupe enough people into voting for a King Monster as President of the United States, because most surely that President, his Party and their cronies will thereafter "Democracy-Proof" the Electoral System, and hunt down all that may be able to restore the freedom this Republic was forged in.
Republicans have cast Jesus as an evil god of war

The American voting public today is more slow-witted, dimmer and lazy than at any point in history. Though there are more Democrats and Democratically leaning voters, they do not come out to vote unless a significant fire is lit under their ass. However, that is not enough to ensure that the will of the people, no matter how cowed those people are, is seen through.

You see, the Republican Party would turn our nation into a state perennially at war, with no rights to workers, women, the poor or the disenfranchised. A Republican-run government will remove Civil Rights and Women's Rights with as much care as a tailor would remove lint from a suit. They are a steamroller of evil, bent on the destruction of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States, as well as the twisted mutilation of the Earthly and Heavenly Ministries of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Republican Party would disallow Blacks and Minorities from voting if it could, and back in charge of this nation they will tirelessly work to do so. The Republican Party endorses the idea that all women's wombs are subject to state regulation. More over, the Republican Party would arm everyone in this country, for the sake of profits for Big Gun, so that everyone -- the good and bad, innocent and malevolent -- would use vigilante justice and mob rule along every street in our nation unabated. Furthermore, they would allow the transformation of police forces throughout this country to continue until they are no longer peace officers but just the bloody cold-blooded murderers so many have already become.

President George Bush borrowed $6T dollars from Red China to fund his Wars of Aggression that produced nothing. Not one American I know gives a tinker's damn about whether or not the Iraqi people are free. We have more than enough issues in our own nation to occupy our collective time. Still, both George Bush and his Vice President, Dick Cheney owned stock in a company the U.S. Government, at their direction, gave no-bid contracts to, Haliburton, Inc., which funded a host of projects -- including mercenary soldiers (who have for centuries been considered filth because they are).

America today is traveling along the path of the Weimar Republic in Germany, slowly heading for that day when the only peace our country will know is that of the grave. Stupid, greedy and slovenly people yield no answers to benefit even one citizen, other than for them and their co-conspirators.
Americans have seen rebellion before

The Republican Party's minions, Arabs, own Fox News. This "news source" preaches Fascism, the 'benefits' of dictatorial rule and class and ethnic hatred. They glamour the least educated, most vulnerable and most simple audiences of this country to sign away their rights (by calling them "privileges") and still people play their video games and sleep.

President Barack Obama is the only thing, literally, that stands between the Republican Party and absolute rule of this country. He is the last person holding back the darkness as we all enjoy the light of reason and sense in government.

Obama will leave office, and I can only pray he is succeeded by a steward like him. However, as able a steward that might be, the Republican Party has promised -- not hinted with a wink -- that if they do not get their way soon then they will lead their toothless minions in an actual Civil War bent on eradicating all the social and scientific, intellectual and religious progress this nation has made for a hundred years in favor of their totalitarian rule. And, they are not even hiding their intentions because they know -- good men and women sleep at the wheel while they make their moves.

I suggest it is time to wake, and contact lawmakers about this rebellion of Right Wingers, and agitate law enforcement on every level to take this treasonous tribe of back-stabbing bastards seriously and jail any man or woman who speaks of violent overthrow of the government and murder of innocent civilians -- even if they do have billionaires backing them.

It is time to end the antics in the street, and remove the Disloyal Opposition from the thoroughfares innocent Americans use every single day.

Islamic and Christian extremists, pot pies and candy canes

By Rev. J.J. Purcell

Can the lessons of the Nazi rise to power, beginning in 1920s Germany, and the Holocaust (1939-1945) be looked upon as a dark warning of the past for us living in 21st century America?

I think it is worth a few lines.

I am an American; a citizen of the United States of America, born in the 1960s. My father and uncles fought in World War II and Korea. My cousins fought in Vietnam. And, American popular culture changed its face and attitudes so many times in my lifetime that I have lost count of their occasions.

No one in the 1970s needed to actively remember Nazis. Our fathers fought them, and some of our family lived through it and others did not. Everyone not only saw the chilling documentaries about the Nazis and the Holocaust, but we also heard about them from parents and grandparents. As a boy, I thought there was little difference between Satan incarnate and Adolf Hitler. I was not alone in this.

I will not mark the years that followed the 1970s by political movements, wars, fashions, celebrity headlines, scientific achievements or rock bands. It is enough to say the years passed until now -- the eve of 2015.

There are extremist Muslims at home and around the globe who seek another genocide. The world has already seen so many of this kind of fiend. This time, these people want to murder basically everyone on the planet who does not subscribe to some smallish cult of Satanic hate someone somehow codified on a camel's back somewhere in Southwestern Asia some centuries ago. This law basically restricts everyone about anything that might represent a full life. Further, women and children lose all personal value and murder is permitted to run through their lands like streams. They are seeking to grow this psychosis over any border that can be found.

At home in these United States, the KKK and American Nazi Party were finally in a well-deserved decline and were only menacing shades from the past before now. For some unholy reason, Christian extremists have found a friend in the Republican Party. Today, their brand of 'Christian Sharia' is trying to be spread like a contagion on Conservative Media Networks, like Fox.

These so-called "Christian" political extremists have actively voiced, and loudly, their want of usurping the American political process given us by our Founders and, instead, seizing control of our state and disallowing Progressive thought in any hall of power. They speak of murder, racism, sexism and Islamic genocide glibly. They wish to empower every mad redneck with a firearm and as much liquor as they can drink and set them loose on innocent town streets.

If someone wanted to create a speed bump for these hellish movements, they might well study the Nazi rise to power in Germany, and the Holocaust. Because surely, these extreme groups have each decided to work on different ends of the blueprint laid down by Hitler and his cronies.

I have studied in seminary, but I must have missed the section where it said Our Lord Jesus Christ was a fan of guns, mad killings, murder, genocide, racism and repression of science, humanity or humility.

In a time when this country needs to be cohesive to face the threat of International Terrorism by insane Muslim fanatics, our nation is just inches short of a Civil War with mad Christian fanatics. Sardonically, if only we could get the two groups together in some border outside the borders of the Continental United States, how much better the world would be for all.

The Muslims who are not truly Muslim could vent on the Christians who are not actually Christians and they could expend themselves on each other without shedding anymore innocent blood or promising to murder the American World, built by the brightest people in the world to be operated by the dumbest.

Do not take any of this lightly, if anyone would, because the world has seen the likes of these moronic "Tea Party" vandals before, just as they have seen these hellish Islamic minions who preach murder. And either or both of these groups could and may infect the world and turn what is light dark, and what is fresh into something acrid.

I pray I will naturally pass before I might have to see the world I love so dearly transformed into a disfigured, disgraced version of itself -- as comely as a horribly deformed fetus in a pickle jar at a sideshow.

I would not have immortality for all the treasures of Babylon. I have a feeling all the best parts of history, American or otherwise, have already occurred. And, given the fact this nation shirked the yoke of slavery only 150 years before, the Great American Highlight Reel is not as long as it should otherwise be. Yet, slavery only proved that even in America lunacy can be institutionalized.

Today, the American race is more vicious, entitled, short-sighted, undeserving, boorish, uncultured, less sophisticated, inept, murderous and bumbling than ever before in our chronicles, which began in 1776. We no longer possess an American Dream, only American Nightmares we wish to share with all of the world. In turn, in the spirit of reciprocity, the world would like to share its nightmares with us Colonials.

Speaking of the world, Islam is experiencing its own civil wars, which threatens to discredit that formerly well known religion of peace and prosperity and give it the likeness to all of nothing more than a frothing mad dog in the streets, who would be better to be put down than understood.

In-between this, people are trying to have gentle lives of love and usefulness. And soon, maybe decades, the remnant of the Garden given humanity by God will be a fetid, spoiled place of languish and desolation. And, before that, I would gladly have my Judgment and be on my merry way.

What is the cause? Forget the lengthy explanations. I will tell you the cause. It is not new and there is nothing innovative about it: Evil men want power. It has been the same since the Great Flood. Evil men would rather make Hell of a Garden and be its prince than live in a Garden and be another gardener.

The American Presidential Election every four years is no longer a hunt for excellence. Instead, every four years, American elect the most corrupt, sometimes dumbest aristocrat that can be found and elevate him to the role of chieftain. Occasionally, a great person is elected to the office. But, in the Modern Era, such things are strictly an accident and any honorable acts one might try to make are quickly eradicated by the mountains of slack-jawed morons that present themselves as Senators and Congressmen.

I urge no one to action. If anything, I would simply look to distraction while awaiting some fresh horror that some fiend or other will unleash upon an unsuspecting, sedated citizenry.

Neo-Conservatives: Homegrown Terrorists Waiting for their Moment?

By Jim Purcell

The American Soldier, Sailor, Airman and Marine are not employed to offer their political observations upon the state of the American Republic.

Far from it, the American Serviceman or Servicewoman is employed to defend their country by obeying the orders of the President and the officers placed above them by the President. This is inherent in the oath they are administered at the outset of every enlistment they enter into as a member of the U.S. Military.

And there is folly and misunderstanding happening about that these days. I am an old soldier, who served between 1983-1999, several years on Active Duty, a few as a Reservist, and some as a member of the Inactive Reserve. Now, I say this -- there is a notion by some Active Duty Service members that they participate in democracy and do not just protect it. Meanwhile, this nation employs so-called "Contractors" who are little more than traitors to the American Cause, clothing themselves in the cloak of Conservativism.

At Valley Forge, during the Revolutionary War (1776-1783), American Soldiers were asked to stay and fight, not their opinion about the way Gen. Washington ran the Army. Gen. Washington served at the pleasure of the Continental Congress, his bosses. Likewise, MG Andrew Jackson was commissioned by the U.S. Congress and, during the War of 1812 (1812-1815), selected to serve in his post by President James Monroe; as the Congress commissioned LTG Phillip Sheridan and he was selected as Army Chief of Staff by President Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War (1861-1865); and commanders from then until now have been commissioned by Congress and selected to their posts by the serving President of the United States.

Yet, thanks to Social Media today, some Service Members feel free criticizing their President and Chain-of-Command openly in venues like Facebook. They are sure that their opinions should be counted in the way that civilian opinions should be because they believe they have a "right" to do so. They possess no such right. They have the unique privilege of serving this Republic in its Armed Forces. They are Patriots for this service, though that does not entitle them to openly defy or ridicule their President or Chain of Command.

There is much made of potential insurrection in this country by Conservative, Reactionary Political Forces (e.g. the so-called Tea Party). These so-called "Patriots" threaten overt use of force if the country leads in a direction where gun privileges are reduced by the Congress or other legislating bodies. How dare they!? Why are these so-called "Patriots" not considered what they are: home-grown potential terrorists? They promise insurrection -- and some of them are members of our Armed Forces who purposefully and publicly promise disobedience and worse to their oaths of enlistment. Meanwhile, others who are "Contractors" subscribe to this belief, which should be illegal in a public setting should such employees utter them to embark upon nefarious actions in hopes of creating a rebellious effect. These people, these Conservatives, are a mere minority of Americans -- nothing more. They are the least intelligent, educated or demonstrative of character.

This scourge should be stopped immediately. Laws on the books of the Uniformed Code of Military Justice should be enforced, and harshly, to ensure that the U.S. Military that has always served this nation with distinction does not become some haven for would-be terrorists.

As an acute critic of President George W. Bush, I protested him in all the ways open to Americans: I picketed, protested, wrote editorials and took part in constructive Online discussions. However, I never have or would threaten any President of the United States, be they in or out of office. Why? Because such a thing is insurrection to the American mentality. One cannot love this Republic and spurn its acceptable means of showing opinion.

So, I say Servicemen and Servicewomen should be ferreted out of the military for adopting overt political beliefs or ideologies that run counter to military or civil law (e.g. Reactionary Neo-Conservatives). Further, American civilians who state or demonstrate opposition to the accepted American standards of political disagreement should be investigated as potential U.S. terrorists in waiting.

To contractors, they should be investigated and, if found guilty, either banned from any government service or imprisoned.

This Republic is being threatened not by Leftists or Communists, as some believed in yesteryear, but by Pseudo-Fascists overtly planning to make war against the U.S. Government and the Governments organized beneath it. And, that cannot be tolerated for the American Experiment to endure for long.

As dangerous as Radical Islamists are, so too might American Neo-Conservatives become before too long. Their message has been a simple one: If the will of the Majority is not to our liking, we will dissolve our collective loyalties to the United States and embark on an actual war of arms against their native country. And, it is high time that ordinary Americans see this for what it is -- not a piece of gamesmanship for electoral purposes but outright sedition in its worst form: Treason.

No body will long last with cancer festering within it, and so too does this present extreme danger where it involves the clear and present danger of Reactionary, Ultra Right-Wing Forces forming in the bosom of our nation.

'Our Town Somerset' is big on attacking the poor, homeless

If only Mr. Beierle could turn these guns on the poor
I always get ticked off when someone indicates they are better than other people, especially when they feel they are better than a whole lot of people, as was said with great energy in the Somerset County Edition of "Our Town," published on Feb. 12, 2014, in Northwest, New Jersey.

The author was Robert Beierle, whom I have never heard of before and whom I know nothing about other than he represents something called "Creative Insight." I know nothing about what that means either. As well, I couldn't recognize this guy from a can of paint on the sidewalk, so that is how much I know about him.

The heart of Beierle's approximate 1500-word diatribe was found in a sentence fragment he crafted on the second page of his front-page opinion. It said: "Some would probably say collecting welfare, unemployment, disability, food stamps, or health care paid by others." He didn't finish the sentence, but I used context clues to figure out what he was trying to say. Beierle then went on to extol the achievements of the very rich (locally and nationally) and the horrible people the poor are, and their draining the 'good rich people' of this world. Yes, Beierle vilifies the poor.

Of note, Beierle not only attacks poor people born in the United States, but also illegal immigrants -- whom he speaks of in the next breath as the natural-born American poor. However, he is convinced that illegal immigrants receive all the same 'entitlements' as U.S. citizens.

Beierle stated: "Could you imagine if the pioneers had the backbone of our existing politicians or the 99 percenters or of those who sit with their hands out?"

Then, Beierle went on to say Americans should not be concerned about "evil capitalists" or "war mongers" throughout the nation. He commented about how he believed the American Flag was drenched in so much blood it should be entirely red but for the representative blue for valor and white for purity. Meanwhile, in a few places within the editorial, Beierle offered a description of Superman, the American Flag billowing in the wind behind him, over-watching either Metropolis (of comic book fame) or the United States, I wasn't sure which. In discussing his views, he reverted back to the ideology of a 10-year-old.

I suppose I am one of those people Robert Beierle (a.k.a. Superman) must want carried off or whatever he plans to do with most Americans who transgress against his political dogma. I collected Unemployment for a long time after my company closed, a newspaper in Middletown, New Jersey, in 2009 -- and my pension vanished. A middle-aged, mid-level manager, I was never fully employed again. I have health care that is paid for not only through Obamacare but also through the Veterans Administration. I collected Welfare from Hunterdon County for a bit and I have Disability claims pending not only with Social Security but also the Veterans Administration.

I would argue the following: It was both Conservative and Liberal presidential administrations that crafted the North American Free Trade Agreement, which destroyed the American Middle Class (Regan through Bush II). The only people who benefited from NAFTA were the "one percenters," who were free to send American jobs to every far-flung corner of the world where they could pay less for labor. It is the evil capitalists in this nation that destroyed the nation -- and turned the Middle Class into serfs.

Further, as industries have transitioned due to advances of technology and market conditions, there are many people left without a chair when the music stopped and the over-simplification Beierle offers is patently moronic, and his perspective speaks volumes about the Conservative Movement in this nation. Mr. Beierle apparently wants something 'done' about the poor in the United States; perhaps starving them to death or letting them live in the woods or walk barefoot as he drives by in his new 2014 car. His whole plan could be based on the musical "Les Miserables." Yet, great nations do not treat their own this way...maybe Third World dirt-holes, but not the allegedly greatest nation in the world.

Unemployment and Disability, among other programs, are not "entitlements." People contribute to them through their paychecks all their working lives. Conservatives forget about this, because it is convenient for them.

Onto "evil capitalists" and "war mongers" being a good thing. I don't know if this gentleman has noticed the United States has been at war with "terrorists" for 10 years with absolutely nothing to show for it other than a lot of killed and wounded American kids and an unfathomable debt for these wars by this country (mostly owed to Communist Red China). A lot of our children went through horrible times these many years for not a lot of reasons as I see it. I am glad my two daughters, one who serves in the U.S. Air Force and another in the U.S. Army, were not in units that deployed (as of this writing).
In move-in condition for a family of four?

I don't know if Mr. Beierle ever served his country in one of the uniformed services (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines or Coast Guard). But, I have never heard a veteran espousing war mongers before, or baseless wars. Certainly, I have never heard the parents of service members speak like that.

In the case of my Disability claim, I have my Social Security claim in because I did service at the Pile at the base of Tower South in the wake of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks. I was a newspaper man covering the scene and I got very sick. The Federal 9/11 Study Team itemized a list of several things they determined, medically, I had been injured by and I am basing my claim on that fact of life. Meanwhile, my Veterans claim is based on several ambulatory, orthopedic and psychiatric conditions I suffered while a serving United States Army Paratrooper (1985-1992). Due to my injuries, I can no longer work and do count on things like Welfare, Food Stamps, etc. and so on, just to live. I do not think I am a bad person for it either. If Mr. Beierle's ass had been in my shoes it would have been him sitting in my seat hearing some mouth go on about people in his situation.

I do not think someone is a coward for not signing up and doing their part. However, it is ridiculous to characterize anyone who has never served this Republic in uniform as a "patriot," as he does. No man or woman is a patriot of this nation who has never donned his or her uniform. And, no barking jerk of a politician owns the title of patriot minus such service. The barking does not gentle anyone's condition. For my money, I don't think anyone should be able to serve in any level of office without having served our nation in the service...because they are not invested or proved in their loyalty or commitment; their citizenship is cheap.
America is bigger than the nightmare the Tea Party would make

Maybe some of Mr. Beierle's political friends should be splashing the flag with their blood a little before talking about throwing our nation's kids into useless wars of adventure. Everyone deserves a measure of humanity, regardless of what the Mr. Beierles of the world say. However, it is a fact that veterans are large demographics within the homeless, the psychologically broken and addicted. Oh, and let me touch on "evil capitalists": Never before these wars has the Vice President of this country, among others, invested financially into the companies they, themselves, held stock in while making the appointments of these companies to serve the Federal Government for long durations of time. Yeah, George Washington never pulled that nonsense. And as for any "pioneer spirit" -- Mr. Beierle's people are good for very little other than victimizing their fellow citizens legislatively or regular bitching against the majority of Americans.

In all, the Tea Party and Conservative movements know very little about the Founders, who were educated people, and served in a British uniform during the French and Indian War and then in an American one during our Revolution. The Founders pledged their lives and fortunes to each other and this Great Experiment of Democracy. What I hear from Mr. Beierle is a low thing, uttered by low people in this nation -- ungrateful for the liberty bestowed them and scornful of the laws of God.

Maybe he should go back to reading Superman.
